4。25/5This volume throws a really interesting wrench into the plot that will take it in a new direction。 Fascinated to see where it goes next。 I continue to love the blend of character work and action in this series。

I love Narumi so much。 A bit sad that we don’t see Reno and the squad no more, but I’m excited to see what’s up with the first division。 As always, really amazing chapters from Naoya 👍🏼Kikoru being badass as always。

Ha tenido que aparecer un personaje como Narumi para que este manga me enganche por completo。

This book checks a lot of boxes - it's still fun, it raises the stakes for all the characters, we see plot progression in just about all aspects, the threats get larger and we see the newest characters get more opportunities to be part of the story。 I think the thing I've appreciated the most over the last 2 volumes is learning more about the Kaiju's the have actually given numbers too and their impact。 It really helps more of this world make sense and informs the characters directly。 Again, sti This book checks a lot of boxes - it's still fun, it raises the stakes for all the characters, we see plot progression in just about all aspects, the threats get larger and we see the newest characters get more opportunities to be part of the story。 I think the thing I've appreciated the most over the last 2 volumes is learning more about the Kaiju's the have actually given numbers too and their impact。 It really helps more of this world make sense and informs the characters directly。 Again, still manages moments of humor, but the action has never been bigger。 A top 5 ongoing title for me right now。 。。。more

This is a really rewarding series in that it truly gets better slowly but surely with each volume。 Really happy I continued on!!

Every book starts with them finishing the fight from the previous book。Every fight introduces a different character with a slightly sillier gun。

Narumj is the best character

This volume introduces us to one of the strongest (if not strongest) Captain in the defense team。 Gen。 That pink haired warrior you see on the cover here? He's the one in charge of the first division, a highly capable team ready to slaughter Kaiju's with ease。 This volume opens up with Kafka still fighting Isao。 It's really a test, Isao wanting to see if Kafka can control himself in Kaiju form when fully on the verge of dying。 Entertaining battle, easy to follow, and pretty brutal at points。 We This volume introduces us to one of the strongest (if not strongest) Captain in the defense team。 Gen。 That pink haired warrior you see on the cover here? Such good stuff, the action is really heating but the comedy keeps you engaged with the characters。 Also, another cliffhanger!

Kinda bummed that the series has already introduced a whole new cast of side characters only 5 volume in, but I’m sure Kafka’s old teammates will be back in due time。 There’s a very sweet full page shot of a monster getting sliced in half that also splits the speech bubble in half。

Great series so far, in this volume we get our introduction to Gen Narumi and his first division within the Japan Kaiju Defense Force。 Probably one of the best characters already, the guys hilarious。 A big threat re-emerges towards the end of the volume, so I’m excited to see what comes of that and if we’ll learn more about to Kaiju and the claims of them demonstrating uncharacteristic behaviors。 As I’ve gotten older, my love for shonen action mangas just not the same, but I’m glad to say this i Great series so far, in this volume we get our introduction to Gen Narumi and his first division within the Japan Kaiju Defense Force。 Probably one of the best characters already, the guys hilarious。 A big threat re-emerges towards the end of the volume, so I’m excited to see what comes of that and if we’ll learn more about to Kaiju and the claims of them demonstrating uncharacteristic behaviors。 As I’ve gotten older, my love for shonen action mangas just not the same, but I’m glad to say this is the exception。 Go read it! 。。。more

Narumi is a great character and his introduction was very well written, the volume’s pacing was very well done and there was a perfect balance between the seriousness of the plot and the cool fight panels throughout the volume。

Here comes my favorite character Gen! Love the weapon, the attitude, the hair! I know people don’t like the break from the first set of characters, but even before I caught up with the series(77 chapters out) you can tell they would wrap the story back around to the other crew。 This starts the next shift of the story。

"I tired to create a character that fit my vision of "the strongest around" and wound up with this pain in the neck。"-the author on Gen Narumido you just see a character that's a loser, sure mighty strong, but a bloody loser and that's Gen Narumi and he's so fucking pathetic but have you, perhaps, considered the fact that i absolutely love him。 five stars for him。 💃🏻 "I tired to create a character that fit my vision of "the strongest around" and wound up with this pain in the neck。"-the author on Gen Narumido you just see a character that's a loser, sure mighty strong, but a bloody loser and that's Gen Narumi and he's so fucking pathetic but have you, perhaps, considered the fact that i absolutely love him。 five stars for him。 💃🏻 。。。more

Though simple, the story keeps getting better。It's rare for a shonen series to have strong female characters that aren't written into the story for fan service or to be the male lead's stepping stone。 Shinomiya is well written。 I also hope to see more of Mina in future chapters。 Though simple, the story keeps getting better。It's rare for a shonen series to have strong female characters that aren't written into the story for fan service or to be the male lead's stepping stone。 Shinomiya is well written。 I also hope to see more of Mina in future chapters。 。。。more
